Omega healthcare to gift Science Center and Mobile Science Lab to Trichy Schools

Omega Healthcare donated Science center for Trichy schools: In interest of long-term development for children, Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Agastya, an International NGO, has established a science center and a mobile science research group in Syed Murthuza Senior Secondary Government School, Trichy.
The experimental facility which was created, will offer chemistry, physics, biology, ecology and astronomy, approximately 150 experiments could be untaken in the lab with help of models, students studying in government schools will be provided practical sessions through science.
This camp with latest learning tools and protocols will assist the teachers to showcase practical skills to the students, which would bring out the creative skills of children and enhance the quality of education.
This mobile science research camp will be useful and available for Maths and Science students from class 5 to 10, throughout the year in Trichy and its surrounding districts which could be achieved through practical models.
In past, schools and students who didn't get the privilege to use facilities like science practical sessions will be benefitted though this mobile science research lab.
"It becomes necessary to be in some preparatory mode to deal with this emerging world", said the Joint founder and CEO of Omega Healthcare, Gopi Natarajan at the time of inauguration. "In spite of several colleges functioning to provide job placements to their students, there is more intermediary action which is necessary to maintain quality of education in distant places", he said.
In his speech, Omega healthcare Trichy Head, Mr. Narayanan said "By providing jobs to locals we have always been influential in the development of Trichy. Under this scheme, the camp at Syed Murthuza Senior Secondary government school will welcome all the neighboring students and teachers of the city. These two strategies will be helpful to facilitate around 4,000 school students of this city and surrounding villages. They can use this research camp and also execute the science and research experiments ", he added.
