Omega Healthcare supports Shrimad Rajchandra Mission in building a charitable hospital
Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru based healthcare outsourcing services provider, is pleased to support Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur and help the Mission raise money to build a multi-specialty charitable hospital in south Gujarat with a facility of around 200 beds.
The Missionis presentinga play on Mahatma Gandhi titled, 'Yugpurush- Mahatma Na Mahatma'which will bring out the spiritual relationship between Shrimad Rajchandra, asaint and luminary, and Gandhiji. TheGujarati play is directed by the renowneddirector Rajesh Joshi and written by Uttam Gada. Omega Healthcare is happy tosponsor the Kannada version of the play this Sunday, June 25th.
The ruralpopulation of the Valsad district of Gujarat rank amongst the poorest in thestate,facing poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, and the lack of healthawareness, leading to a myriad of health concerns.

As per RuralHealth Statistics by Government of India, there is an acute shortageof surgeons at Community Healthcare Centres in Gujarat, which has just 32surgeons while the requirement is roughly around 320.This charity hospital willhelp the state bridge the gap between accessibility and affordability ofhealthcare services.
