Omega Healthcare to recruit 10,000 in the next four years
Trichy, July 3rd: Over the next 4 years, around 10,000 people will be recruited, according to Mr Gopi Natarajan, CEO of Omega Healthcare.
Whilst speaking to journalists after inaugurating the 4th development centre of Omega Healthcare, he said, "Our organisation was started in Bengaluru in 2004 and has since expanded to Chennai, Bhimavaram, Hyderabad, Manila in Philippines and Cebu." We have over 12,500 people working across all our centres. Out of this, over 60 per cent are women. We have provided employment to over 100 differently-abled people. In Trichy alone over 4,000 people work at Omega Healthcare.
In the next four years, we expect to recruit an additional 10,000 people. In this recently-started 4th centre alone, we expect to appoint 1,500 people. We have recruited people from the educational institutions close by."
As of now, Omega Healthcare, which provides services to only doctors and hospitals, plans to serve pharmaceutical companies and open nursing call centres, said Gopi Natarajan.
The company's COO S V Krishnan and the head of Trichy operations V Narayanan participated in the event.
