Omega Healthcare Management Services Pvt. Ltd., a leading offshore healthcare service provider covering medical billing, coding and revenue cycle management (RCM) verticals, has announced that it will add 1,500 employees at its five locations, with a major presence in Tamil Nadu.
With majority of its workforce in Tamil Nadu, the company is geared to capture the growing business opportunities in the US healthcare industry.
Besides the US healthcare industry's migration in coding system, Omega Healthcare's move to garner new opportunities will necessitate to expand its headcount.
The company has over 11,000 employees and is planning to add 700 in Trichy, 600 in Bengaluru, and 200 in the Philippines in the next year.
The addition of 1,500 will have a net addition of 2,500 staff to manage three shifts.
Currently, the company has 3,050 in Chennai, 3,800 in Trichy, 3,550 workers in Bengaluru, 110 in Bhimavaram (Andhra Pradesh), and 600 in the Philippines.
